Hi, hi, hi my beautiful humans!!! 💖
Happy Wednesday and happy quote day! Look at me actually getting this out on time 🐫😏
Before we dive in, let me give you a little work/life update because I know some of y’all have been on this ride with me for a while now. I feel like I’ve finally settled into a routine that feels… good. Like really good. I never thought I’d say this, but waking up early isn’t that bad when you’ve got a cute outfit picked out and the promise of a 5pm sign-off waiting for you on the other side. Now, don’t get me wrong — if it’s the weekend, I’m still sleeping in until at least noon because balance, but this hybrid life? I’m digging it. A little office time, a little work-from-home, and I still get breakfast tacos and coffee from Commissary — yes. Please. 😌☕️🌮
But more importantly: I’ve been talking to so many of you lately. You’ve shared your hearts with me. You’ve shared your real-life, messy, beautiful, overwhelming, hope-filled moments. Some of you are navigating layoffs or career changes. Some of you are starting over in brand new industries or cities. Some of you are figuring out how to be a parent while still trying to remember who you are. Some of you are deep in the weeds of healing, or starting a new fitness journey, or just trying to keep your head above water.
And if that’s you right now — this quote is for you:
“When I feel the anxious, queasy energy of uncertainty and notice myself overplanning, overthinking and grasping for control, I place my hand on my heart and gently remind myself, ‘Uncertainty is where possibility lives. Uncertainty is where freedom lives. Uncertainty is where hope lives.’” — Nicola Jane Hobbs ✨
Uncertainty — the thing we all try to avoid — is actually where all the good stuff lives. Freedom. Possibility. Hope.
I’ve been there. WE have all been there. And spoiler alert: we’ll all be there again. Uncertainty is a package deal with being human. It’s the price of admission for a life that’s full of growth and transformation and real, deep joy.
But here’s the thing that’s changed for me: I no longer let uncertainty own me. I don’t let it steal the show. Because at the end of the day, uncertainty is just a feeling. It’s not a stop sign. It’s not a warning. It’s just your brain going, “Whoa, this is new!” — and you get to decide how you respond to that.
Mindset is everything. And you are in control.
Want to grow? Get uncomfortable.
Want to make a change? Take a risk.
Want to build a life that feels aligned with who you are? Walk straight into the unknown.
Unless you want to stay exactly where you are (which, if that’s working for you, more power to you — seriously, I’m not here to stop you). But if you feel that little tug, that nudge, that whisper that maybe you’re ready for more… then it’s time to lean into the discomfort.
Because here’s the truth: you can volunteer as tribute, or life will volunteer you. You can raise your hand for the plot twist, or wait for the universe to drop one on you without warning. Either way — discomfort’s coming. But when you choose it, it’s empowering. It’s brave. It’s yours.
So if you’re in the messy middle right now — feeling unsure, anxious, wobbly, maybe even a little lost — I see you. You’re not behind. You’re not broken. You’re not doing it wrong.
You’re growing.
You’re becoming.
You’re walking the road that leads to something beautiful even if you can’t see the destination yet.
Let uncertainty be your invitation. Let it remind you that something new is on the horizon. That freedom is within reach. That hope is alive and well.
You’ve got this. I’ve got you. We’re in this together. 💛
Trust your journey. Rest your souls, little saplings. Always leave people better than you found them, and have a hopeful day and a extraordinary weekend ahead! 👽🫶🏻🧿🌱
